Iran’s state-run Pars News Agency announced a new ballistic missile called the ‘Houthish’ 4, claiming a 2,000-kilometer range and ability to carry a 1,500-kilogram warhead with 30-meter precision.

Yadullah Gwani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ political office, told Al Mayadeen television that the missile unveiling sends a message to the United States. “If we sit at the negotiating table, we will not abandon our military capabilities,” Gwani said.

The announcement comes as Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, continues arming its proxy network including the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah. The IRGC, designated a terrorist organization by the US, has been restructuring its missile forces under a decentralized command system to ensure retaliation even if leadership is targeted.

Iranian officials have repeatedly boasted of expanded military capabilities following recent regional conflicts. The missile display underscores Tehran’s strategy of coupling diplomatic overtures with military posturing as nuclear negotiations remain stalled.
